Could there be asbestos in my property?

Possibly, but that doesn’t mean it is unsafe. Asbestos was used in a wide range of products, some of them more dangerous than others. Other factors to consider are how likely the item is to be damaged or disturbed. If you are concerned, contact us for more information.

Do Artex textured coatings contain asbestos?

Sometimes, yes, but there is no way of knowing for certain without testing. Contact us to arrange an appointment for sampling.

I own a commercial property. What are my responsibilities?

Regulation 4 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 states that buildings constructed prior to 2000 should have an asbestos management plan in place. In order to compile the asbestos management plan, an asbestos survey should be carried out. We can help not only with your initial survey, but also help you to compile your management plan to ensure full compliance.
